BORN Loop Dee Science was born in May 2017 around one objective, that of designing analytical solutions that take into account users and their field needs. For this, we have acquired the mastery of innovative molecular biology technologies, and we have joined forces with experts in various technological fields, with the aim of offering all-in-one analytical solutions. Slide THE FIRST KITS After 2 years of research and development, Loop Dee Science markets its first screening kit, the BIOMOLKIT kit, a screening solution for AIDS and Leucosis viruses in cats.
Marketing, entrusted to an expert distributor in the veterinary field, was reserved for the French market. Slide THE ARRIVAL OF COVID-19 On January 30, 2020, the WHO emergency committee considers, in view of the epidemic outbreak, that the new SARS-CoV-2 virus constitutes an international public health emergency, so population screening is a very serious option. to control the outbreak. Loop Dee Science is teaming up with the Caen Normandie University Hospital to develop a rapid test for the detection of SARS-Cov-2 that can be used at the patient's bedside. Slide THE ANALYSIS DEVICE In parallel with the development of the COVID-19 screening kit, and in partnership with specialists in optical and electronic technologies from Normandy, our nomadic and automated analysis and interpretation device is born. The analysis device allows, in less than an hour, to perform, in complete autonomy, an isothermal PCR analysis as well as the interpretation of the result.
